WUAMAN

Wuaman is a family of talented artisans with three generations of experience. Their alpaca fiber is sourced from three small farming communities in the Southern Andes of Peru. This luxurious material boasts qualities such as being naturally anti-microbial and anti-fungal, hypoallergenic, breathable, moisture-resistant, strong, durable, and incredibly soft.

Wuaman supports its community by offering Free Embroidery & Crochet Training Workshops, particularly benefiting single mothers. They permanently employ 217 skilled artisans from Andean communities, with 80% of them being women. Additionally, 70% of their employees work from home, allowing them to care for their children, and they also provide zero-interest micro-loans to employees and fellow artisans.
