These elegant hand-carved salad servers are made of sustainably harvested Aren, a strong wood in the palm family. These beautiful utensils are ideal for hosting special family meals.

The wood spoons are carved in a traditional family workshop in Bali and then sent to a fishing village in Java, where our shell artisans inlay the handles with mother of pearl they get from a local oyster farm.

Care

Hand wash in warm, soapy water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the wood and capiz.
Dry the salad servers immediately after washing. Do not allow the wood to soak in water, as this can cause it to warp or crack.
Do not put the salad servers in the dishwasher or microwave. The heat and moisture can damage the wood and capiz.
Store the salad servers in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing it in direct sunlight or in a humid environment.
