Time is the most precious thing we have. But what if every day on a calendar could become a step toward changing someone’s life?

For the third year in a row, Kaarina Heiskanen and the non-profit organization Aurora4UA ry are bringing together talented Ukrainian and Finnish artists for a noble cause. Their project turns calendars into works of art, featuring paintings filled with light, hope, and resilience. But these calendars are more than just art; they are a powerful tool of support, a symbol of unity, and a testament to faith in the future.

Over the past two years, hundreds of these calendars found homes, and the funds raised have been used to support those enduring the harshest trials—children in Ukraine who have lost their parents to the war. Last year, the proceeds helped purchase Christmas gifts for these children, bringing a touch of warmth and joy to their lives.

This year is unlike any other.
Ukraine faces one of the harshest winters in its history: destroyed homes, damaged infrastructure, power outages, and uncertainty about the future. But even in the darkest times, there is something that cannot be taken away—the belief in goodness and solidarity.

The Calendar of Hope is more than just a collection of dates. It’s a chance to be part of something greater, to support those who need it most, and to remind ourselves that art can indeed save lives.

Paintings made by Vera Leshchenko and Mariia Gavriushenko.

All profits go to Aurora4UA ry.
